BTS during the Love Yourself era

BTS during the Love Yourself era

Hey. Welcome. I'm glad you're here.

My name is Katura. I'm a pharmacist. I count pills, check drug interactions, and counsel patients on their medications. I am precise by nature and skeptical by training. I do not fall for things easily.

And then BTS happened.

I don't remember the exact moment. I think it was a clip of Jimin dancing, or maybe RM speaking at the United Nations. Something made me pause. Then I watched one music video. Then another. Then I read a lyric translation and sat in my car in the pharmacy parking lot for fifteen minutes processing what I'd just read.

Within a month I was deep in it. Within three months I realized there was no bottom to this rabbit hole. The music connects to short films that connect to a fictional universe that connects to real speeches at the UN that connect to philanthropic campaigns that raised millions. Seven guys from a small company in Seoul built something that genuinely has no comparison.

But here's the thing: getting into BTS in 2026 can feel like walking into a library with no card catalog. There are hundreds of songs, dozens of music videos with hidden storylines, variety shows, documentaries, solo albums, fan traditions, inside jokes, and an entire vocabulary you don't speak yet.

That overwhelm is real. I felt it too.

So I made this course. Not because you need a course to like a band, but because having a map makes the exploration more fun and less stressful. This is the guide I wish someone had handed me.

What this course covers:

  • Module 1: Who the seven members are, where they came from, and what makes this group different
  • Module 2: Where to start with the music, what the "eras" mean, and a curated starter playlist
  • Module 3: The ARMY community, where fans gather, how fan culture works, and how to not feel overwhelmed
  • Module 4: Everything beyond the music: shows, films, the BTS Universe, solo projects
  • Module 5: Your first comeback, what that means, and a practical guide to participating in the Arirang era

Take it at your own pace. There's no test. Skip around if you want. Come back to sections later. This is supposed to be fun.

Let's get into it.
